You never want to be stranded in the desert right!? ALWAYS CHECK YOUR RIG BEFORE YOU HEAD OUT! A while back while in west Texas we realized the shackles, levelers and bushings needed replaced because we could see there was play in the shackle indicating the bushing wore out which was causing play in the movement of the suspension. In return wearing out the shackle to the point of almost breaking. We special ordered the parts, jacked up the camper and "got 'er done" We knew taking it to a repair shop would cost alot of money, we felt capable of tackling the job ourselves :)
Thanks so much for watching and following along on our journey. Stay updated daily at our Instagram account: @kermitandtrinity
Back in November we camped at The Devil's Den dive center in Williston Florida, from there we drove about 20 minutes to kayak the rainbow river in Dunnellon Florida. We used Rainbow River Kayak Adventures and their awesome shuttle service that we highly recommend. If you ever do this, we encourage you to paddle upstream from K.P. Hole launch to the spring head as they suggested, it's the most beautiful waters. It's amazing how much the colors change as you paddle down...

We ripped out the couch/dinette set that came standard with our 5th wheel RV and made this super useful pop-up table! We can have it down when we want more floor space then pop it up to dine, have a bar top or extra workspace while looking out of our huge window. Want to learn how to build your own? Special thanks to Wade (Trinity's daddy) for helping our vision come to life.
We celebrated Christmas here in Texas (about 80 miles outside of Dallas). We’ll bring in the New Year here and start driving west on Monday towards New Mexico. Here’s a little tour into our budget Christmas decor. (Oh! and we painted our living room 3 weeks ago too!)
